We were absolutely thrilled to officially launch the SMART CRC last week, bringing together nearly 200 attendees from across our partner organisations and broader network for a truly memorable event.
The buzz in the room was electric, and the energy, enthusiasm, and shared excitement was a powerful reminder of the incredible momentum behind this national initiative. It was fantastic to see so many of our collaborators in one place, ready to get started and drive meaningful impact together.
On day 2, we were energised by the level of engagement and thoughtful contributions from our partners during workshops and panel discussions. The feedback, ideas, and shared vision that emerged are already helping shape the future direction of the Centre and the broader regenerative therapy sector.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our partners for your ongoing support and commitment. We’re especially grateful to our keynote and guest speakers – Prof. Mark Blows (The University of Queensland), Julie-Ann Campbell MP (Member for Moreton), Michael Hund (EB Research Partnership), and Jonathan Brown (AFL Legend, EBRP Ambassador) for their inspiring contributions and reflections on the future of regenerative therapies and collaborative innovation.
This launch marks the beginning of a 10-year journey to transform Australia’s regenerative therapy landscape. We can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together.
