EB Research Partnership Australia (EBRP) is inviting Expressions of Interest from SMART CRC Partners to participate in a collaborative project focused on pruritus (itch) in Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

We love working with EB Research Partnership Australia (EBRP), supporting projects to create therapies for treating and ultimately curing Epidermolysis Bullosa.

Inviting Expressions of Interest from SMART CRC’s community of partners
We are looking for one project that delivers a meaningful, translationally-focussed outcome to treat pruritus (itch) in Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
Project overview:
- Duration: 6 to 12 months
- Project type: Preclinical or manufacturing-aligned research
- Collaboration: Multi-partner collaborations and in-kind contributions are encouraged and viewed favourably
Timeline:
- EOI open: 18 March 2026
- EOI close: 10 April 2026
- Review period: Approximately four weeks
All EOI submissions will be treated as confidential and reviewed first for eligibility by the SMART CRC, followed by assessment and decision-making by EBRP.
The successful EOI will then progress through the standard SMART CRC Project Agreement development process prior to funding approval and project commencement.
Partners with relevant expertise who are interested in contributing to this project are encouraged to submit an EOI.
