Charlie is a senior Chartered Accountant and company secretary with over 50 years’ experience in finance, governance and risk management gained across a broad range of industries. After gaining an honours degree in zoology at the University of Manchester, he retrained as a Chartered Accountant, joined Deloitte and migrated to Australia.
Charlie has spent many years as secretary and CFO of small ASX-listed entities as well as a director, CFO and secretary of other public and private companies. He was a director and secretary of CTM@CRC Limited (Cell Therapy Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre).
His current clients are all growth companies with exciting potential outcomes that can make a real difference to the community. He was a founding director and secretary of Carina Biotech when it spun-out of CTM@CRC and is a member of its SFRAC. He is also secretary of TekCyte Limited, another spin out from CTM CRC and is a member of the audit and risk committee of MB CRC Limited (Marine Bioproducts CRC).
