SMART CRC CEO Prof. Simon Cool, COO Dr. Sarah Costanzo, and Research Director Prof. Allison Cowin were recently in Sydney for a busy and productive week of partner engagement. The team attended ISCT ANZ 2025, connecting with leaders across the cell and gene therapy sector. They also met with a range of NSW-based SMART CRC partners to strengthen relationships and explore collaborative opportunities.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to the University of Sydney, UNSW, University of Technology Sydney, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, and KLS Martin Australia for hosting the team for thoughtful meetings focused on research capabilities, early-stage project ideation, and navigating policies to streamline collaboration.
