As BIO 2025 nears, Queensland’s life sciences community came together for a strategic briefing.

CEO, Professor Simon Cool, and COO, Dr Sarah Costanzo, are excited to represent the SMART CRC at BIO International Convention 2025 as Centre ambassadors.

This week, they had the opportunity to join Queensland Government representatives and fellow Queensland delegates at a pre-BIO 2025 briefing event. They heard from The Hon Jarrod Bleijie MP, Queensland Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning and Minister for Industrial Relations, alongside a panel of leading researchers and sector voices who underscored Queensland’s enthusiasm for biomedical innovation and global collaboration.

We’re looking forward to connecting with our national and international partners, exploring global opportunities for collaboration, and sharing how the SMART CRC will accelerate the manufacturing of regenerative therapy products to improve health outcomes.
