Building Impact Together: SMART CRC and Queensland Government Collaborate on Regenerative Medicine

The SMART CRC team had the pleasure of meeting with our government partners from the Queensland Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, (DETSI) yesterday, including Mark Jacobs and the broader team.

As a national centre committed to strengthening Australia’s sovereign capability in regenerative therapies & manufacturing, we are focused on building impact-driven partnerships with state governments nationally.

We also wish to acknowledge and sincerely thank the Queensland Government for its early and significant support of the SMART CRC bid. This support helped lay the foundation for a national collaborative platform that brings together industry, research and government to accelerate innovation, commercialisation and workforce development.

We look forward to continuing to work closely with the Queensland Government to align with the State’s strategic priorities in health, economic development, biomedical innovation and advanced manufacturing, and to help shape the growing opportunity for Queensland within Australia’s regenerative medicine and advanced manufacturing sectors.
